20 July 2023

Amicus Recruitment, who have bases in UK, USA, and Germany, and offer recruitment services to businesses from start-ups to global brands on a contract and permanent basis, have announced that they are relocating to 3,125 sq ft of fitted and furnished space on the part 5th floor of 10 Chapel Walks. Amicus have leased the space on a five-year lease with a three-year break option.

Amicus are relocating from managed workspace into a building that has recently been fully repositioned to meet the needs of modern-day business. Amicus have worked closely with the landlord, Artmax to deliver a fully fitted and furnished solution that perfectly meets the needs of their team, and will provide Amicus with the space that will support their future growth.

10 Chapel Walks is in a great location for doing business as well as providing access to a wide range of amenities. The building stands proudly on Cross Street facing St Ann’s Street with frontages to Cheapside and Chapel Walks and is at the epicentre of a number of city centre restaurants and retail. 10 Chapel Walks is also home to occupiers such as Aviva, Total Mobile, and Workman.

Shaun Connor, Founder at Amicus, said:

“We are absolutely thrilled with our new space. As a business we were looking for a space that no would only fit with our growth strategy but also somewhere we could call “home” and we feel the space at chapel walks, the landlord has produced a fit-out that offers both.

“The current staff have been super complimentary of the space stating how cool the look and feel is and we are really looking forward to continuing our growth in a brilliant office space. We would just like to thank everyone involved for a smooth process and making it extremely simple from our end.”

Herman Fung, Investment Director at Artmax, who are the landlords of the building, said:

“Amicus are a fantastic addition to 10 Chapel Walks. The space is filled with potential for businesses to bring their ambitions to life and take advantage of all the building has to offer.

“As a central hub for high quality workspace, the team at Artmax were thrilled to provide Amicus with an environment that they can truly flourish for the foreseeable future. For us, it’s not only about investing in the enhancement of our properties, but also making sure our customers feel right at home in their workspace, and we have certainly done that with 10 Chapel Walks.”

Andrew Cowell, Transactions and Asset Management at OBI Property, who acted as leasing advisors, said:

“It has been great to work with Amicus on their relocation. Amicus are an exciting, growing business, who had a clear understanding as to what they wanted to achieve from their new workspace; to deliver an inspiring environment for their team, and they could see that vision within 10 Chapel Walks from the first time they went into the building. Amicus have created a great space at 10 Chapel Walks, and it will be the right place for the team to continue to grow”.
