Irwin Mitchell has taken a further 6,000 sq ft at BlackRock UK Property Fund’s 50,900 sq ft Bauhaus office building, bringing its total occupation to 30,000 sq ft over five floors within this Grade A office building.
New letting agents OBI Property and CBRE believe the implementation of a new marketing and leasing strategy with a quoting rent of £21.50 per sq ft should lead to additional take up of the remaining two floors. Will Lewis noted “In terms of location, quality and value, this latest expansion by Irwin Mitchell at Bauhaus speaks volumes about the building’s advantages and we are currently in detailed discussions with a number of occupiers considering committing to the building”.
Since first moving to the building in 2007, the firm has steadily expanded, according to Regional Managing Partner Grahame Codd : “We selected Bauhaus as an operational base for our Manchester team because it offered us a high quality working environment in an exciting and expanding business location right in the heart of Manchester city centre. We are delighted the building was able to accommodate our additional floorspace needs within a relatively small space of time since we last expanded in Bauhaus.”
