Luxury Travel Business Scenic Acquires Space at 4 Piccadilly Place

27 March 2019

Award winning luxury cruises and tours travel company Scenic has taken the first floor of 4 Piccadilly Place (8,068 sq ft) on a ten year lease with a break a year five at £28.50 per sq ft.

Scenic has relocated its team of 80 from 111 Piccadilly to 4 Piccadilly Place. Scenic chose 4 Piccadilly Place because the workspace is of a high quality which reflects the business and its portfolio of luxury holidays.

OBI acted for Scenic on the acquisition and delivered the design and project management of the fit-out of the space.

Colin Downing, managing director UK at Scenic Group, said: “With major market positions in Australia, Canada, the United States and the UK, plus a network of general sales agents in some 40 countries worldwide, it is very important that our office space reflects and enhances our corporate brand and the luxury holidays we offer.

“We couldn’t ask for a better location than 4 Piccadilly Place and the fantastic interior design by OBI has brought our brand to life in our workspace like never before.”

Paul Mills, Transactions & Asset Management, OBI said: “It’s been rewarding to work with Scenic throughout the whole process of their move into 4 Piccadilly Place. The building offers workspace of the highest quality, and the design we’ve applied helps bring the Scenic brand to life, reflecting the five-star service offered by the company.”

3 and 4 Piccadilly Place are asset managed by Property Alliance Group (PAG) and the scheme offers 320,000 sq ft of workspace with ground floor amenities. PAG has invested in the outdoor space at the scheme, introducing a display of art comprising five oversized lamps reflecting various eras and centuries of innovation in Manchester.
