One of Wilmslow’s most prominent office buildings has been acquired by OBI Property for clients Quorum Estates from private clients of Stewart Montrose for an undisclosed price.   The property; 52 Alderley Road – attracted keen interest  when it went to the market at a guide price of £3M.

The four storey building has retail on the ground floor with 12,000 sq ft of offices above with extensive car parking to the rear.  Occupiers include BiWater plc and estate agents Gascoigne Halman.

Gary Scorah, Investment Partner at OBI Property believes this is a good indicator of investment interest returning to the South Manchester market if the right product becomes available.

“This building makes a perfect  addition to Quorum’s well-managed portfolio of commercial property and its strength in the South Manchester/Cheshire region.”

Paul Wardle Director of Quorum Estates, commented “this acquisition represented an ideal opportunity for Quorum to increase its office investment presence in Wilmslow. The property is well located within a town centre and benefits from excellent on-site parking as well as a high profile position.”
