Following the successful relocation of McGrigors LLP to Spinningfields earlier this year, OBI Property have been successful in disposing of the 6th floor, The Pinnacle, King Street. McGrigors previously occupied the 5th and 6th floors of The Pinnacle and OBI were instructed to dispose of their remaining lease liabilities following their move to 1 The Avenue.
Will Lewis of OBI commented; “we are delighted to have disposed of the 6th floor and mitigated our clients on-going lease liabilities on this space. This transaction fully justifies our clients decision to relocate to larger premises”.
Independent venture and growth capital fund manager EV Group has doubled the size of its Manchester office with a move to The Pinnacle. Jonathan Diggines, Chief Executive of EV Group, commented: “As our funds have increased, so has the headcount. We have been bursting at the seams recently, so it will be great to work from a bigger location. EV’s recent growth reflects its key role in providing capital for SMEs and growing businesses at a time when they need it most. We can also show that it is possible to do this, while at the same time generating an attractive return for our investors.”
