OBI Property has recently acted for client BDO in the disposal of 10,000 sq ft of surplus accommodation at their offices at 3 Hardman Street, Spinngingfields. National commercial property consultancy Lambert Smith Hampton (LSH) has made the decision to relocate from its Mosley Street address to Allied London’s new premium financial and professional services destination.
In a move which sees LSH become the first surveying practice to move to the award-winning development, the firm will occupy 10,000 sq ft at 3 Hardman Street on a 13 year sub lease from BDO, joining several other major professional firms already based in the building such as Barclays Corporate, Pinsent Masons and Bank of New York Mellon.
Commented OBI’s Offices Partner Will Lewis, who acted jointly with Drivers Jonas Deloitte on the transaction: “LSH’s decision endorses the attractiveness of 3 Hardman Street and Spinningfields to the city’s professionals, particularly so given their grasp and knowledge of Manchester’s office market.”
Roger Tunnicliffe, Head of LSH Manchester, said: “Mosley Street has served us well for almost 75 years and we will be sorry to leave it behind but, with the core business district in the city moving across to Spinningfields, we feel that the time was right for a move. “
