OBI Property has completed the £170,000 design and fit out of the 10, 129 sq ft office for specialist social work and social care recruitment company Liquid Personnel at Sevendale House on Stevenson Square in Manchester’s Northern Quarter.
Liquid Personnel, which was voted the fourth best place to work in the UK last year, employs 85 staff and has moved from 52 Princess Street as the company required a larger office.
David Hickey, Operations Director, Liquid Personnel said: “Sevendale House is exactly the right fit for our business and staff. It’s in a great location and the space works really well for us. We are delighted with the design and fit out work provided for the office by OBI Property, it is certainly a welcoming space for our team and customers.”
OBI Property wanted to create a space for the young company to make them feel energised and motivated working in a busy call centre environment. Small games areas have been made to help keep staff entertained, while the client reception area is designed to reflect the eclectic elegance of the Northern Quarter with oversized lamps and frames.
The lighting reflects the industrial essence of the building while the textured wallpapers and carpet softens the space.
Dominic Horridge, director, OBI Property said: “Having completed the refurbishment of Sevendale House last year, it is great to be working with new tenants on the design and fit out of their office space. The fit out for Liquid Personnel is another example of the ‘OBI difference’ where all the team get involved in working with a client from the start of their office search, to choosing their furniture and planning office space.”
The £6 million refurbishment of Grade II Listed Sevendale House was completed in August last year, providing 65,000 sq ft of Grade A office space and 15,000 sq ft of retail space. OBI Property are joint letting agents with Daniel Harris & Co on behalf of the landlord, Philip J Davies Holdings.
