OBI Property is delighted to announce two further tenants at Bruntwood’s rejuvenated Riverside office complex, located next to the River Irwell which is now one of Manchester’s most popular office schemes to date in 2012.
OBS Group, a procurement outsourcing consultancy, has taken 2,285 sq ft and Target Marketing Solutions, specialising in debt management, has taken 5,683 sq ft.
Bruntwood spent £5m refurbishing the 140,000 sq ft complex including two new reception areas, public realm, landscaping and an upgrade on the floor space across the five buildings. The scheme is now 80% let.
Andrew Cowell of Bruntwood said: “Riverside is Manchester city centre’s best performing commercial property in terms of new office lettings with 33,472 sq ft of space agreed to date in 2012, equating to 11% of the city centre take up.”
Will Lewis of OBI Property added “Bruntwood have not only undertaken an impressive office refurbishment, but they have totally re-positioned the asset by undertaking significant works to the public realm and wider area surrounding the collection of buildings.”
OBI also advised on the largest city centre deal so far in 2012 when MoneyPlus Group took 21,500 sq ft at Riverside in May.
