OBI Property is delighted to announce they have recently concluded the largest city centre office acquisition for over a decade. Australian law firm Slater & Gordon is to open its new UK offices in Manchester having signed a 15 year lease at 58 Mosley Street – the 106,000 sq ft Grade A office building situated in the heart of the city’s traditional office core.
Slater & Gordon, which recently acquired Pannones as part of its expansion strategy, is one of the UK’s largest law firms. The move will see Slater & Gordon consolidate five offices under one roof.
Neil Kinsella, Head of S&G UK said “We are delighted to have secured 58 Mosley Street as our Manchester flag ship office. Following S&G’s recent acquisition of Pannone and Fentons it has been central to our strategy to bring all our staff in together in one place. OBI have supported us every step of the way and were instrumental in bringing us to this point.”
Will Lewis of OBI Property, who acted on behalf of Slater & Gordon, added: “It has been great working closely with the S&G team at such an exciting time for the firm. Since commencing the acquisition process, the office market in Manchester has changed dramatically with supply rapidly diminishing. We are therefore delighted to have secured S&G their own building in an area of Manchester benefiting from the transformation of St Peter’s Square.”
