OBI Building Consultancy Partner Dominic Horridge is spearheading the major refurbishment of Ocean House at Towers Business Park in Didsbury.

The 37,000 sq ft building will be the new home of the Towers’ latest major occupier, US manufacturing giant SPX  Corporation, who will create another 200 jobs for Greater Manchester based at the scheme.

The search for the right location for SPX took over twelve months with several European cities closely considered.

Said Jonathan Speakman-Brown of Dutch property company Wereldhave: “This is another major coup for us as Towers establishes its reputation as the service centre hub of Greater Manchester. The deal was a great team effort and we have been delighted with the results achieved through our joint agents OBI Property and GVA Grimley.  We look forward to the rest of  2010 and continuing the success of at Towers Business Park.”

Due for completion in May the newly refurbished building will make available the ground floor comprising 12,000 sq ft of Grade A accommodation which will be available to lease.
