Earlier this month OBI Property received the prestigious Manchester Evening News Young Business of the Year Award 2013. OBI Property was set up in February 2010 and has quadrupled staff numbers from three to 12.
Numerous companies across Manchester entered the significant awards and the judges visited the hopefuls to run the rule over the entries.
After several presentations and an interview OBI Property was shortlisted against the food manufacturer SM Sauces, run by sisters Lisa and Helen Tse and also the Trafford Park marketing firm The Market Creative. However OBI Property scooped the award on the night and the judges said it was OBI Property’s impressive client list and growth which led them to give OBI Property the award. It was a huge testament to the quality and hard work of the whole team.
Other winners from the evening included Oliver James Recruitment who is a Manchester-based insurance industry recruitment firm. OBI Property acted for Oliver James Recruitment in their office relocation to Vantage Point, Spinningfields which has clearly been to the benefit of the business as they won the £25 – £50 million category.
