The programme management and construction consultancy has relocated its Manchester office from Salford Quays to larger premises in the city centre. The firm has agreed a lease on 7,000 sq ft on the sixth floor at 55 Spring Gardens, owned by clients of CBRE Global Investors. T&T said it has seen double digit growth in the turnover of the office, now in excess of £20m, and employing more than 200 full-time staff. 55 Spring Gardens has undergone a multi-million pound refurbishment which included the infilling of an internal atrium and the creation of a new double height reception. Existing occupiers include Brook Street, Take 5 and Linder Myers.
Richard Lace, in the Transaction & Asset Management Team at OBI Property said:
“55 Spring Gardens is one of the most exciting refurbishments to come to the market for a number of years. Providing a unique reception area with a dedicated business lounge, the building encourages interaction between its occupiers. Turner & Townsend were looking for a building that would inspire their workforce and 55 Spring Gardens achieves this. By approaching the Landlord prior to the completion of the refurbishment, we were able to secure the building on favourable terms that supported their move back into the city centre.
He continued: Their fit out matches the contemporary aesthetic of the refurbishment and is expertly designed to provide some of the most desirable workspace in Manchester.”
