Warrington’s BE Group Completes Rebrand Transition
07 May 2025In October 2024, OBI, Manchester-based, multi-disciplined property consultancy, made a strategic investment in the out-of-town property market by acquiring Warrington-based BE Group, a well-respected and established commercial property agency.
Today marks a new chapter for BE Group as they officially rebrand to OBI, ensuring a smooth transition for both clients and staff. OBI’s Warrington-based property team will be opening a new office at Birchwood Park’s recently refurbished Chadwick House this month, demonstrating their continued commitment to the regional market in Warrington and the surrounding areas.
Will Lewis, co-founder and managing director of OBI, commented: “Over the past six months, we have worked closely with the Warrington team since acquiring BE Group and already, we have benefited from enhanced capabilities and market reach, which are opening up new opportunities for our talented OBI team. Rebranding under the OBI name signifies our commitment to collaboration, combined resources, and a shared dedication to our client-focused property services.”
Simon Roddam, head of OBI’s Warrington office, added: “OBI has a strong presence in the North West property market, having established itself as a market leader from our Manchester headquarters. Transitioning to the OBI brand at this stage is a natural progression in what has been a fantastic period of change, enthusiastically supported by our clients.”
On the move to Birchwood Park for the Warrington team, Martin O’Rourke, Commercial Director at Birchwood Park commented: We are delighted to welcome OBI to Birchwood Park and into the newly refurbished Chadwick House. Both OBI and BE Group have long-standing relationships with Birchwood Park for both agency and building consultancy services and it is great to see them join the community so they can experience all the amenity and facilities on offer to our occupiers”.
OBI originally purchased BE’s agency services that account for circa 80% of sq ft transacted across the Warrington office market.
